“Post Scarcity,” the debut album from Hubble Origins, brings together the creative forces of Jace XL and Sam Morrison in ten original songs that blend soulful vocals with rich, genre-crossing instrumentation. The sound is rooted in alt-soul, but the duo brings in hints of folk, jazz, rock, and more, making each track feel distinct yet part of a cohesive whole.

Stoked to announce that I will be performing Chapel off Chapel Summer Sounds with the Amazing Thando on 21st Febuary
Accompanied by an all-star band under the musical direction of long term collaborator Henry James and 12 piece Gospel Choir led by Liona Tatafu – 2020s Chapel Summer Session will be Thando’s live performance Magnum Opus. With special guests yet to be announced, this is one Summer Session not-to-be-missed.

This is one for the family! Over the summer, FCAC presents Bluestone Sessions, a free program of live music and DJs curated by some of our city’s most charismatic musicians. Make the most of our lush outdoor spaces; bring the whole family, friends and your picnic rug! Get a drink at the bar, let the kids run wild and dance while you all indulge in some fine live music.
For our first ever edition, we are thrilled to have thando performing two live sets with her full band alongside MzRizk (DJ) on the turntables! Zimbabwean-born and Melbourne-based singer-songwriter, now officially mother of one, Thando has been gracing stages around Australia with her electric presence and powerhouse vocals. Collaborating with the likes of Remi, Sampa the Great and other talented musicians, Thando has crafted her genre bending sound with a mesmerizing live set not to be missed.

All artists are performing free of charge, and the good folks at the Ev are waiving their venue hire fee, so 100% of what you pay on the door will be donated.

Zimbabwean born songstress Thando has been gracing stages around Australia with electric presence and powerhouse vocal. Heralded as a commanding performer, her ability to tell a story takes her audience on a journey of loving oneself and reflection.
Thando grew up feasting on the musical offerings of Ladysmith Black Mambazo, QUEEN and TLC. Along the way, she found Jill Scott and crafted her genre bending sound with an electric live set.
Her 2016 debut EP ‘Digital Love Letters’ paved the road to a slew of festival appearances such as Strawberry Fields and Woodford Folk Festival and NYE on The Hill.
With the highly anticipated release of her brand new single NUMB., this multi dimensional performer is solidifying her status as Melbourne’s newest first lady of R&B.

On 15th February we’ll be presenting The COOL CALM live on the Cherry Bar stage for the launch of their new single " Nothing From Nothing"
This quartet are part of the current wave of neo-soul artists who are creating a contemporary blend of heavy hip hop grooves, soulful vocals and fuzzed out guitar sounds. Having been developing their sound on the back of relentless touring along the NSW coastline from Manly to Byron Bay, whilst supporting the likes of more established artists such as Dan Sultan, the band have caught peoples attention with the likes of singles such as “Hand” and the follow up “Moving Forward”. Deservedly, The Cool Calm have impressed punters at the likes of Woodford Folk Festival, Red Deer Music and Arts Festival and Queenscliff Music Festival bringing their rowdy reggae party to those wanting a boogie!
